Found A Vintage Tootsie Toy Truck

E-Trac-Ohio

Well-known member
Hunted an old farm house for a few hours last night.
The only good silver hit I got was a real solid FE (12) - CO (46 / 47) - down about 6" - it turned out to be an old die cast - Tootsie Toy pickup truck.
It's in real nice condition - complete with wheels, tires and axles. A little research showed that this particular model was produced from 1949 to 1960.
Also ended up digging 1936 & 1942 Wheat Cents.

Nice finds there Mark you might be surprised I have a friend that has a book on those and some of those can be worth a few bucks! 50 years later and that truck seems to be holding up better than any other truck I know of lol :)

Looks like a 1950 F1 ford:clap:

Thanks for the picture of your truck Mark. I've found 2 tootsie's. Both were found at my maternal grandparent's place.
