Found a wheatie

Took the Xterra 705 to a Roosevelt school in Virginia this morning and hunted for a few hours despite some brutal wind.
I dug 30 pennies while I was there, but I found the one I was looking for ... a 1944 wheatie.
That makes my 5th one for the year.
No silver today, but there is always next time!

My hunting buddy says that for every 10 wheats you find there will be a piece of silver.

I put my Wheat's ( and other coins - up to present day) in Harris coin folders.
It makes the find is even better when you dig a coin that has a date or mint mark on it that's still missing from your collection.

Cool. I found 2 this week, a 1945 and a 1946
