Found Another Large Cent! ; Kinda

Louisiana Ken

New member
Again at the old Acadian diggin next to the iron (can't leave this place). Well I found the usual bullets, camp lead, square nails, shell casings and then there was the LC in the 1st photo. 1/4 of a LC close to where I found my 1st whole one. Guess during the CW there was a coin shortage down here so a LC equaled about 4 IH cents. Also found what looks like a brass base to a candle stick holder (15" down). The 1878 IH came out of a hole with a square nail. Needed a break from the iron so I went to the back yard (starting to work that area now). Found a 1933D penny with nothing around it except thresh hold (nice! I needed that) then later on pulled out another CW bullet. Not shown are a few early 40's Jeff nicks and wheaties.

Good luck at your sites and HH,

Kenny

It is fun once in a while to get a clean "you're an idiot if you don't dig this" signal. Takes some of the guess work out of it.

Thanks for the pictures Kenny and congratulations on some unique finds again out of that place.
