Found my very first half-dime!

metalhead

Active member
After searching an old former river crossing for several days, I found my very first half-dime! Dated 1841 and found with GTI 2500 and 10"x14" double D coil.Wifey found a large cent(1846)which we let the land owner keep along with some other off bits and pieces(ox shoes, etc.). I'm keepin' this half-dime in my collection, though! We're done searching this area, although it has been quite pleasant enjoying the natural surroundings. We're headed back to the gulf coast now. I'm itchin' to hit some beaches with the Infinium! Here's the best pic I could get and also shown pictured with a couple of my previous finds,a silver quarter and seated liberty dime to show size comparison.

Nice find metalhead. Haven't found one of those yet. WTG:thumbup:
