Well I finally got a decent hunt in. A wooded area near a large cemetary. Nothing super great but fun.
4 wheats. Oldests being 1910.
38 Merc.
Fired musket ball.
Part of a decorative backer plate.
Little buckle.
Tombac button.
Two bullets.
Lead soldier.

I am glad to hear you finally got out Clyde.
A good hunt for sure anytime you get silver, buttons, and relics. :beers:
Was there an old church there nearby once?
That lil soldier is quite interesting looking. Looks like maybe he held a trumpet or something at one time with his arms up like that?

Ya! I hunted almost all day in the woods yesterday. All I found was pennies. 10 wheats and about twenty mems.. Strange.LOL!! HH Bruce.

nice stuff - looks like some people in New England are going to get more snow. Congrats.

GR. Nice catch. Lead soldier and a Merc 1st day! Hope that's a sign for a good year. HH
