Found the Big sister to 1877 Seated quarter

Went out today and was hunting a 100 yards from where I found a 1877 seated quarter and found 1878 Seated half dollar along with the rest of the stuff posted.The merc and the 2 Buffalo and the wheaty all stuck together you talk about a funny sounding mess.Thats why I dig every signal that is deep you never know.

That's awesome. I found my first Seated half about a year ago. I know the feeling. Still waiting for that Silver Dollar though. Congrats. That's what detecting is all about. I guess it can be dangerous if your heart is weak.:wacko: Finding things like that. Those kind of finds can keep you digging pull tabs for quite a while waiting for the next big hit. Glad you picked that area to hunt????? HH.
 
Yes I was not expecting to find a seated half ,This place has been hunted for 30 years It was laying next to a iron fence down about 6 " dew to the iron gate it was tough to find .Just worked the coil slow.Good luck on your next hunt.
