Well this is a first... I was hunting in a park when I got an overload signal with my Delta 4000.
I lifted up the stock 8" coil and was getting readings in the high 80's.
It pinpointed larger than a coin.. I thought it might be another Coke can like the one I did the last time I got an overload, but I dug anyway.

I was surprised when, at 2 inches down and stuck in grass roots, I pulled out an Ipod Nano (I wonder if The Grass Roots are on it) ;) A bit muddy as you can see (it was raining here in NY most of the day). That's something you don't find everyday!

cool find does it work ?

now that's a "rockin'"find!..just sayin!

(h.h.!)
j.t.

If that thing works............it would be a fantastic find...........and a testimony to durability that should be submitted to Apple.

neat find hope it works

When in doubt - DIG!! Nice find!

What a coincidence! Last week on my second time out with my Gamma I found a recent model Motorla flip phone buried in the muddy shoulder of a road - it was full of water and dead.

You'd be surprised. My wife accidentally washed my IPOD classic about 2 years ago AND ran it through the dryer. It still works to this day. The charging port might be cruddy though. They can be replaced easily by a guy on Ebay.
