Free GPS data transfer software

While researching maps and GPS resources I came across this free GPS program developed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. It is called DNR Garmin. This program allows the user to upload/download GPS waypoints, tracks and routes to/from various programs and GPS devices and save them to your PC. It was developed using the Garmin 76 handheld GPS but it may work with other devices. I have used it with Google Earth, Google Maps, my Garmin 76s and this mapping website: http://www.mappingsupport.com/p/gmap4.html

You can download DNR Garmin from the following website along with instructions on how to use it:
http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/mis/gis/DNRGPS/DNRGPS.html

Another website where you can obtain GPS coordinates is http://www.historicaerials.com . This website allows you to compare modern maps and aerial photos with past maps and photos.
