Fridays Finds

Hey everyone. I found quite a mixed group of finds on Friday after work. The penny is just for size reference. These were found in the same place I found the cloak clasp, thimble, and ring. The same general area anyhow.
What I thought was a cannonball, but I'm told is cannister shot!? It measures just shy of 2 3/4 inches wide, and weighs approx. 3lbs. Has a small round falt spot on it where it was fired? It's in rough shape, but a great find! Anyone know anything about these? What it was fired from? How old maybe?
I also found a small brass bell. The top of the loop is broken, but other than that it's in good shape and works well. The ball inside is quite rusted, but that's to be expected. Not sure what this was used for!? Sleigh bell!? Animal?
Also found what looks like a necklace amulet, or a keychain perhaps. It looks to be made of brass. Very heavy and in the shape of a totempole. I don't think it's too old, but pretty neat.
Lastly, I have no clue what this little piece is, and probably never will. It has 6 holes in it, and it says "Cuno pat pend. no.1791" Who knows.
Any thoughts or comments on these items are appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Now you're talking Wes my boy! I don't see why that is not an early 3 pound cannon ball. I have a 4 pounder and think that is very big to be a cannister shot. As a matter of fact I do have a cannister shot and it is only as big as a golf ball. (what I would expect)
Really I can't say one way or the other but my money would be on small cannon ball... either way awesome find! That's an 1812 (or earlier) find for sure.

still taking some digs at me huh!? ##### you!!! I WILL find some war of 1812 buttons, etc. soon enough, and when I do, this will be the first place I post. *haha* I do think it's war of 1812....but I don't know much of cannonballs or canister shot. The flat spot is not less rust, it is a depression for certain.

Iron relics are cooler than hell man so keep diggin em. Come on now Wes, get yourself a sweet early button and step up to the big leagues.
Only time my friend, I know the relics are there.
PS
I take it where the round depression is it's still solid iron? It is VERY possible to find a mortar with the powder still intact so make sure your ball is solid. Probably is but we want to make sure you are around for a bit
