OMG...

I have dug so many zincs/screw cap signals since I started metal detecting & I never found the fabled giant gold ring -Till today.

Large park-fairly well hunted but I was in an area with a huge amount of screw caps-ignored by other detectorists. And I was using my Sov XS w 8" coil...Huge zinc/screw cap signal-almost walked past it. When I 1st dug it I thought it was a pipe fitting-Nope-Just the best/biggest Gold ring I ever found-one off my bucket list frankly.

Anyhow-I am also very glad I don't have to melt this one. No marks-Custom I'd wager-Twin profile out of tiger eye I think & it weighs 20.7Grams w/stone..

Yowza!
Edit-Almost forgot-38 Quarter also-that alone was a great find but the ring stole major thunder

Congratulations! That is a beauty. I often wonder how many nice rings I pass up. I dig a lot of trash just because I'm afraid I'm going to miss a once in a lifetime find. Last year a dug a certain pulltab in the outfield of a ball field which turned out to be a 10 gram platinum ring. My first & only platinum jewelry of any kind. It's worth the effort for those rare finds!

I don't wear rings especially since I started detecting...But I may have to pop this bad bling out at special occasions.

Congrats on finding the great looking Ring !

An amazing and impressive find!
How you can even lift your hand with that heavy thing is also impressive.

CongratZ!

I guess I need to continue digging more pull-tabs and zinkers
before I can be allowed to find a big gold ring like that! Nice
find and congrats.
