When I changed coils out on the T2 today I took a better look at the plug on the coil. I noticed some small screws that could potentially loosen on these plugs & well after giving the considerable price that I did for the T2 SE.... I feel that the plugs on the coils should be a little more heavier duty. the screw on connector has a tin looking screw nut too. I guess I expected a little more in the coil connection dept on the FT units. Great detectors though I can't knock them at all ....... I Love the ease of use and great performance I'm getting. It just seems like they settled for less in design by going with this cheaper looking connector. I read one post where the screws came out and one of the guys from FT made it good. (Sent him a screw) This is my first venture from another detector brand and maybe I'm whining about nothing. I've had no issues with the connectors, but I can see where they could be a problem down the road if you change coils often as I will be doing & everyone else does as well.
