I took Deus out for its maiden voyage today to a place I've taken my other detectors. I only covered a small portion which is one of the areas I've hit the most. I didn't expect to find much (which I didn't). I just wanted to get a feel for the detector. So far I like it and I know once I get used to it, it will be deep, but the one problem I seem to have is with full tones. I read that the audio responses are supposed to be smooth and blend together, but I found when air testing coins that they were almost too high pitched...almost like a whine. Some signals I didn't want to dig because they were zippy. Was there a setting I may have had to cause this? Or is there something I can change. I still have a bunch to learn, but even when air testing coins, they didnt sound that great when they were farther from the coil
