Did the two outings in NV, one was in the Wells area and the other down in Tonopah. As always they were lots of fun and a chance to meet up with some friends again. I primarily used the Racer 2 with either the 7" coil or a small coil. Well now at least I can say I have seen Tonopah and the Tonopah dump. I didn't do any sifting. I detected the dump area a few days and another site the last day. We also explored a few sites in the area as well. If you go to Tonopah, you have to stay in the world-famous Clown Motel to make your trip complete
When all was said and done I did manage to bring home a few keepers.
In the Wells area, I ended up with an 1859 half-dime, an 1869 IH Penny and prob my best find a FOB in the shape of the Liberty Bell that came from the 1915 San Francisco Panama Pacific International Expo. So that was a neat find.
In the Tonopah area I managed a 1901 IH Penny, 1900 V Nickel and a nice Eagle Button.

As for the Clown, you're on your own on that one!! BTW They were featured on one of those creepy ghost programs on TV, and the big doll in the office purportedly moved all by itself....yep, sure....
Cheers to that!
