1st target I dug after getting out of the truck, these are rare around here and this was my 1st. It was only 3-4" deep with nails in the hole with it!!!!!
 
very nice!! how do ya like the G2? i just ordered one..will be here thursday. cant wait!! i use the mxt pro and really looking forward to using the G2. i love the button. im about to make a display case to put my relics in..
 
Actually, more than one question, really, as I wanted to confirm if you used the stock 11" DD coil or the 5" DD or ??? Do you recall the settings you used? Most of the time I set my Discriminate level at 40 to get the low-tone audio from Iron, but sometimes no more than about 18-21. It depends upon the site environment.

I hope you make more excellent 1st Finds soon.

I really like the G2. I think you will have to revisit all the places that you have hunted before with other machines. That's what I've been doing and cleaning up. If you missed any cuff buttons or pistol bullets, you'll find them!!!!
 
11" Coil, as I find that it works the same as the 5" coil to me. Like on the GBSE, I set the disc at 40, that way I cover the Iron but can hear high tone foil and up. A lot of small brass and lead start at the 40 setting. I also run full gain, no EMI or jitters!!!!!
 
I really love the simple, yet effective, Disc. control and being able to hunt at full Sensitivity almost all the time. It's a great detector!

Great Find! Don't you just love walking right to a Target? (Human Dowsing) Glad to know your loving the G2, Me too! Your right when you say go to your old fields and hit them. I've done two and have been really impressed at what this machine can find. First hunt finding a thin button that was totally vertical is incredible. Keep the finds coming and good luck. Frozen ground up in the north till spring so it's great to see the posts.

Nice find Mo I too am enjoying my G-2. For those wanting to know about the G-2s ability to find silver the deepest target I have found so far was a dime at 9 inchs and the machine nailed it in a picnic area filled with bottle caps and pull tabs. Just got my 5 inch coil so I will try it out tommorrow or friday. HH
 
thats good to hear! i love finding relics but also enjoy the silver... i am looking forward yo using my new G2!!!
