have had unit for 11 months, all of the sudden it starts losing satelites. for about a week it recovers, then it just won't locate satelites. contacted garmin and was instructed to update firmware via internet did that and now it works but still occassionally loses satelites but has recovered pretty quickly so far. anyone else having these problems, or is it just this unit. until this the unit has performed flawlessly! thanks in advance for any input.

Never heard of such problem. It's odd. My son is using 360 for a while now and he is very happy with it.
Just a wild guess; Maybe your unit has an intermittent electrical fault with antenna connection or something like that.

andrew, contacted support at garmin again and they had me re download chip set firmware, unit is functioning well now. thanks for your reply. might want to tell your son to update chip set firmware.
