Garrett Infinium Finds California Gold Nugget!:garrett:

Hey Everyone,

Well I was detecting in N.Cali yesterday for nuggets and found me a nice 4.1 dwt gold nugget. I dug a ton of bullets before I found it but was persistant even though I was getting tired after 5 hours of non stop hunting. Sure do love that Infinium. I can hunt a long time with it because it doesnt drive me nuts like a VLF machine in the goldfields with all the noise they make. Well I did a video of finding the nugget and it will tell the story better than me typing here. So here are the links for more pics and a youtube video: Enjoy!

I'd love to find a few of those! Found alot of gold rings but no nuggets! Of course it would help if I was in a nugget bearing area! Very cool!!

Nice find.. Congrats !!!

Great find my dear bud. That Infinium will find the goodies for you. Hope you find a bunch more. You still in Oregon and are you going back to Happy Camp in the spring or summer?

Bill

Yeah it helps to be where they grow those nuggets. :) Here's some that were found on the Yuba River in California by a lady nuggetshooter.

Yeh Im still in Oregon. Got me an Oregon licence too! Will mine in Happy Camp area on my days off from work which is 3 days a week off, start dredging June. Cant afford to quit my job and live off gold. Im only 27 miles from the Klamath so i dont have to drive all the way to Happy camp if i dont want too. 49ers have claims on upper Klamath also near me, which is where I found the nugget. Lots of options for me to choose from. Just love the Infinium, the main reason it is so quiet in nasty ground and is deep also. From my observations seems the Infinium is as deep as the GTI 2500 with 12.5 coil in AIR. But Infinium will do it in ground, which is what matters. Take care Bill,

Alan

It's great to see a post on the Infinium Alan. What a great slug to find.
I've looked at a couple of videos on it recently and am quite impressed with it. If I wanted to get serious about gold hunting, it would be my first choice of detectors.

Glad to see you're keeping busy out there. I hope you'll continue to keep us up to date on your adventure. Be careful when you're out there in the wilderness. Looks pretty remote.

Nice job bearkat4160,

I bet it was worth all the sweat and tears after digging bullets all day to finally find that golden beauty. I enjoyed the video, get the waders and get in that mine and start swinging.

Hey that makes it handy, being close to the gold honey hole. Hope you find a bunch this spring and summer. That Infinium will sniff them out if they are there. Good luck.

Bill
