I haven't posted here in while since I've been water hunting. I went to change out my water headphones to my land headphones to try the woods for some relics. I ended up breaking the pin off from the headphones in the detector. Without even calling Garrett I sent the unit with the headphones in along with a note of what happened and if there was going to be a charge give me a call. Sent it in Sept. 23 rd. and 9 days later a package is sitting on my porch!!! You got it, It was my detector, Garrett not only fixed it, but sent me brand new headphones, WTG Garrett. I took it out in the woods today for the first of relic hunting season. Here's my finds for a short hunt in the woods. 2 flat buttons, round ball, some kind of dog tag, a Chucky Cheese token, an Odd bullet, and a well worn copper!!!

Nice finds. Let's see. It has been about three weeks waiting for my land phones replacement from Ontario. The eastern distributer sent it to the wrong address. So now they are waiting for it to be shipped back to them, and Canada post holds an item for ten days first if a package is unclaimed. Then when the package goes back to the distibutor they will ship it out to me. Should be 4-5 weeks and frozen snow covered ground by then.

Glad to hear that Garrett got you fixed up! Looks like a fun hunt- that's some old copper!!

I'm glad Garrett fixed you up. Those pins are flimsy.. I'm lucky that I have damaged mine yet..
Congrats on your finds.....
