Garretts Pinpointer

I know how well you'll talk about GARRETT'S pinpointer ,but I was at garretts in Nov. with Sue and we had a hard time finding a peice of brass one inch deep in my leg. it did not inpress me at all .But you'll can still play with it. The peice of brass is about the size of 1/8 of a Dime.

Wow, maybe that one was having problems. Mine has been excellent on coins in the field. I would not go out without it.

Must have been faulty in some respect. I field tested the prototype and the production model and never had that problem. But 1/8th the size of a dime is mighty tiny. The PP will pick up very small items with no problem but how many of us treasure hunt our own body for strange and stray items.

I betcha a million$ my THD would pick it up with its 95 kHz. Propointer= 12 kHz. Yeah, the propointer rocks, but I usually use my THD when I'm nugget shootin' Happy Hunting!

Thats mighty small piece. An inch is too far away. A half inch however it will probablly get it.

ive not had any problems with mine, ive had it for over a month now, seems to be working great imo..
