made it out for a couple of hours today with the Explorer se. Hit a foundation site at one of my local parks. I only searched about a 20'x20' (of a 20+ acre park) area between the foundation and the roadway but was able to save 2 good coins 1926 wheat and an 1899 Indian cent. the third item I thought was a button cover but after some research appears to be a late 1800's early 1900's whistle. there is still lots of area to search and multiple other home sites in the general area. Now i just have to find where they hid all the silver. should be some barbers and mercs mixed in somewhere. the last picture is what the whistle would have looked like if i had been able to find the whole thing.
