Here's a sweet spot that we found out in the Nevada desert. Old mining town. Hope your dirt's not frozen... mine is!

Nice Skull... Bring that home for your son to play with? I would probably smooth out the sharp edges before you put it in his play pen...

I actually collected a lot of bones for my daughter when I was out there. She thinks they are neat

Haha! Yeah I brought it back with me. It's on the book shelf now... or the "dust shelf" as I call it

Good For You

I Found The same Heart Heel Plate In A Church Yard A Few Years Ago

What Do You Know About It?

I Think I Remember It Might Be Civil War Era?

Regards and HH

Nice! I love detecting those kind of sites! Looks like the Chinese miners had a strong foothold in that town.:bouncy:

I like the heel plate too Brandon I can just vision your bowlegged lady of the night LOL Great hunt guys!!

Boy the Chinese Coins are everywhere over there in the west it seems. What happened to the wick turner? I did some research and back in the day people or slaves used to use the wick turners as currency in the place of pennies. They were actually valued a bit more than a penny. Also, I would think it was convenient for them since the holes was already in the middle. ;)

Yup, someone probably made off with that wick turner. I find them quite often
