Ghost town

The town of Rumsey, KS existed from 1883 to 1885 near Evansville, headquarters of the Comanche Cattle Pool. It had a post office and maybe 3 or 4 other buildings. It had never been detected until today. No coins but some cool relics including a C-F-10-82 45-70 casing. Beautiful Kansas winter day with my kids. 60 degrees.

I'm pretty sure it's a punch. Rectangular and sharp. It was found near two of the horse shoes. I'm guessing this was the stable/blacksmith area. Judging from where the finds stop there were less than 6 or 7 buildings. I'm going to return when it warms up again.

Real nice finds there, yes I would go back and look some more. was there anything on the suspender clip , name , date ?

Nothing on the suspender clip. Although there's some pretty fancy filigree on it.
