Well my last couple of hunts were at places that I've been to many times. I decided that I was going to experiment and try new settings. Hand full of wheat pennies mostly from the 40s and 50s.
The 40s and 50s came from a site that was hard to find anything at due to the iron and minerals there. A couple of older wheats 10, 09, 1914(my second this month with no D), 1920. The beat up 42 merc came from there as well as the Boy Scout knife.
The other silver came from a school yard.
The Teddy Roosevelt for president medal I found last night in a park that I had not found much in in the past. It was found at about 10" deep (note the rusty iron spot on the back side) . I found it not far from the brass cinch ring , that was also 10"+ deep..
Musket balls, old button.
Thanks for looking and HH to all.

Nice finds. That Teddy Roosevelt watch fob is cool. The boy scout knife is also in nice shape. All the knives I find are rusty iron junk. HH

Thanks Flipper,
Ya, that was a cool find. I thought that it was Franklin Roosevelt till I got home and saw that it was Teddy. I'm thinking that this part of the park might be an old gathering spot. GL to you.

I love that cool almost police badge style FOB. I have found a few looking things like that and really like that kind of style they used.
I have a whole jar full of knives I have found that are in much worse shape than that.
Thanks for sharin.
