On my last trip to Florida last year, I found this at the beach with my Ctx. I forgot all about it. Someone must have brought it from Mexico.

Btw, I'm heading back to Florida for the holidays.....if anyone wants to do some detecting....let me know!
 
Odd looking object. Did you think it was can slaw from the size of the signal? :)
 
No, Its a nicely crafted piece out of Mexican coins and mayan calendar. Never expected to find that on a florida beach but ....you never know.
 
Cool find James. At first I thought it was a belt buckle, but appears to be an ashtray. An unusual find on a Florida beach for sure.

I can't imagine anybody bringing that from Mexico but you are correct it is an ashtray
