Gold Bug SE or G2 ???

I mostly relic hunt but sometimes I do general detecting but almost always at sites that have been in use for 100+ years. Sometimes in yards of homes built in the 1930s and 40s. A almost never hunt playgrounds or places that hold only newer coins... HOWEVER, with this GB/G@ I may be spending a little more time looking for jewelry... so anyway... does anyone have any idea if it would be to my advantage to wait for a G2 instread of going ahead and buying a Gold Bug SE ?
I have an Omega coming with the 11" coil that i'll be able to use with the GB SE... and I see that as an advantage because I think the G2 will come with an 11" coil stock, then i'll still have to buy a 5" coil.

Maybe I answered my own question unless there is something I am unaware of...

Not to hijack the thread... but I've had my eye on a G2 and currently own an F75. Would the G2 have much of an advantage in gold jewelry hunting over the F75?

I don't think FT quite knows either. I imagine production stays in flux because of the changing demands of a worldwide market and because of the pace of R&D. I want one but I also want them to take whatever time they need to get it like they want it. I hope they are making money because more money means more R&D which means mo betta detectors.
