Gold coins found at rally

They are reported as treasure to the FLO, more than likely will be kept by the British museum. The process is painfully slow bureaucracy, that will take years hope he lives long enough to enjoy half the money lol
Two make it to museum. The others someone's pocket.

Shoot with the detector, shovel up the treasure, and shut up.

From my personal experience with the treasure evaluation committee, I hope he doesn't get his hopes up. They usually give extremely low evaluations. You can counter them with comps but they don't move off of their low ball offers. Im not a fan of the treasure act in UK. Its just an easy way for the government to to acquire your finds with little regard to time and effort.

Fabulous finds. Too bad he wont get to keep any of them.
