Gold Field Program = Double Gold Ring

Last night I was at my favourite school field and brought my Deus as I've been gridding the field a different way. I decided to try something different and use the Gold Field program, adjusted the settings a little bit and off I went. I did one row and found a few pennies, the second row I received a solid hit, after digging my plug I placed my knife in and out popped on the tip of my knife a large gold ring and my jaw dropped right then and there. This men's band has a date inscribed of 1948, it's a 10K and weighs 6.2 grams. The very next target which was about 3-4 feet away was another gold ring - this one was a ladies 10K 1.5 grams with a small diamond. I'm still blown away of finding not just one but two gold rings in a short evening hunt and using a program in which I've not used before in a soccer field.

Wow!

Fantastic score, back to back gold!

Reminds me of a similar day I had several years ago, Only at the ocean wet sand dug two gold rings just a few steps apart.

Those are beauties! Congratulations!
Paul

Congratulations! Double gold, you inspired me to try Gold Field in a few areas I've been hitting with the Sifter program.

Very nice! Makes me wonder how much more gold there is there.
Nice finds and there will always be lost gold and silver!

Super finds for sure. Makes me wonder if a quick switch back to your normal program would you still have dug these targets or does Gold Field get all the credit? Nice night for sure

Fantastic day for you!

A fantastic hunt - congrats ! :clapping:

Congrats Hotdawg. Like two homeruns by same slugger in consecutive innings. May I ask how deep the hits were?

The large signet ring was 8" deep and the second smaller one was at 5" deep.

If that signet ring was 8" deep, you know most likely it was lost a l_o_n_g time ago.

You gotta think that Gold Field program gets the credit. Congrats on the double gold!

I'm going to get much better acquainted with it and do some practice runs..real soon!
