Oh how cool. It looks like there's a name engraved along with the date. Have you tried to find the owner of the ring? Congratulations!
 
Yes I have Nancy, I searched for about 2 hours last night and couldn't find anything with the names associated with that date.:confused:
 
Way nice Brandon. I sure hope you get a chance to give it back, that ring represents a lot of memories to someone. If alive, they could be in their 80's maybe.
 
I know how devastated and in trouble I would be if I lost mine, it was about 5 inches down so lost a while ago. The search will go on.
