Finds have been scarce this season but I did manage to pull this sweetie up . Found a washout that was producing big lead sinkers so I had a feeling big gold could be in there with them . That's gold #20 for the season . Love my CTX !

I mainly search the wet sand /low tide in Florida's gulf. Moved here from Ohio 35 years ago where the goal was finding old silver . Found 54 gold pieces last year and each one was a thrill but love detecting when in Ohio and still get a thrill from a Merc in that old, black soil !

Awesome find. Lots of folks have asked me how I find gold I always tell them, If you want to find gold...be where gold is lost and , in your case found.
Every once in a while though the best things can happen to those who are just out there having fun!
