Our local coastline is still changing due to winter storms and rough weather, were I found these items the beach frontage drops off around half a metre, and has exposed a lot of lost coins etc. I spent about 6 hours here all together for a total of 134 coins, and they were all found in a distinctive area that had been exposed at low tide, when I went back today it is all changing again the area were I found these items is now getting re covered in sand again, and possibly wont be uncoved again for a long time.Interesting watching the tides and currents do there thing.A lot of the coins are corroded really bad (see photo),fortunatly the salt doesn't seem to affect the $1 and $2 coins. Also 2 silver rings and the gold ring is 9kt.Funny how the foreign coins turn up.......thanks jim
