Got a good one today

Went to a old area where guys I hunt with have been finding civil war era bullets and such. So I was kidding them saying I was going to find a gold coin. So I was not hitting on anything but iron got a tone and vdi I thought was going to be a wheat penny and there it was. A 1918 New Mexico military institute class ring. Almost as good as a gold coin. It was difficult getting the pic of the year but I think you can see it

No mark inside but tested 10k has a name I can't make out

Thanks yeah I'm grateful to find it. It's heavy to 17.87 grams I just put on the scale
