Got Gold:crazy:

Headed out to a couple of local lakes, and got the usual clad and a nice gold band. I stayed on the dry land, as the temperature was only 46.4 F/ 8C this morning. I used both the GTI 2500 and the Infinium. I only dug mostly High-Low signals using the Infinium, ignoring the Low-High signals due to too many signals, figuring it was either iron or pennies. The Infinium got the gold.

Below is the closeup of the ring.

Very nice John! Anyday you find GOLD is a great day!!!!:clapping:

Nice Gold! I've been in Texas (west of San Antonio) for a week without my detector. So haven't been out ... would have been too hot anyway, 105 degrees ... :hot:

Great find on the gold, J-E. If you find any fishing lures that are very old, you might want to check out one of those websites where they buy and sell antique fishing lures, rods or reels or other tackle. You might literally be throwing Gold out the window if you discard all your lures. I don't know what you would do to research this, but if you find a lot of lures it might be in your best interest. seems like Field and Stream had an article about old lures and tackle and their high collectible prices they bring. the old memory is shot.
