Got my Propointer back

Hope this is the correct place to post this, and if not I apologize. Just got my propointer back from repairs as the on-off switch wasn't holding at times and the sounds seemed to be weaker and less informational. It was under warranty and came back in 9 days in great shape working perfectly. They replaced the coil which is just about the whole thing and included a new battery. Great service. Good timing, too as it has been so cold, rained and snowed, and generally bad weather so I only missed one day of hunting.
Andy from Hillsborough.

Good thing , I know i would not be with out one hunting parks, and by the way only 9 days out ? thats fast I got rid of my bliss tool because it took 6 months to fix a gain pot when it comes to garrets pinpointed and a tesoro they go together

Glad you got your Garrett Pro Pointer back so quick. I have not had any issues with mine, but what do you guys think about:

Garrett Pro Pointer Protection Sleeve, All Round Protection

I've had my GPP for over 5 yrs, been great! Glad u got urs back quick.

Surprised you didn't post in the Garret forum since it's a Garret product. I had one before and had nothing but problems with it. As a matter of fact, everyone in my club that has one went to crap after a few months....random beeping nonstop.

What was the solution for you and your club?

Some bought Sunray's, some bought Bullseye 2's, I bought a Minelab Profind, one bought a Pistol Probe, and some sent their Propointers in to be fixed.

Gotcha thanks. I did not realize there was such a high failure rate.
