I stopped at a ball park in town that I've been past many times but did not think that it was all that great looking to hunt. Was I wrong.
Large cent (toasted) no date.
Colonial copper (also toasted) no date. The only detail is a bust facing left.
Shoe buckle.
Star burst button.
1898 Barber dime in sweet shape full detail.
1960 Rosie.
Silver pin thing with stones inset.
A very nice mans ID bracelet with the mans name engraved on the front and July 1946 engraved on the back.
Two ringed bullet.
1950 wheat.
I also found things that would seem to indicate that there my have been a house there at one point.
Thanks for looking and HH .

One of the better days I've had. I'm scoping out new sites and don't want to travel a million miles. I think this site will be good for a while. HH my friend.

Thanks Erik. Twas a nice day. My wife kicked me out a week and a half ago so it was nice to get out on a fine early fall day and just zone out. Oh! and actually find something. HH

Hi - not sure if you're joking, but come down here some weekend for some hunting in my area or I'll drive up there....that bracelet is really nice....would love to see some more pics of that one closer up. My detecting is a HUGH issue with my wife! :argue: Was great last weekend when she was out of town with her sister and it was just me and the dog!

My detecting has little to do with the issues between my wife and I. No I'm not joking.I've been living at my shop and I seems so peaceful here. Thanks for the invite. Let me see how things go in the near future.

WTG with all that stuff! It's hard to tell if sites are old sometimes so the only thing to do is get the ole detector out and give it a try which in this case proved big time that there is some age to the area and now you have a new site to hit with hopefully many more keepers coming out for you. Congratulations on a new site and can't wait until you go back there and bring back batch #2. Good Luck and HH GR.

Very good job GR and a nice variety of finds buddy.:clapping: I have a good feeling that you will be back at that ball park real soon and best of luck on your return trip. HH.

Thanks Ed.Ya gotta get back there soon. Those coppers were a good 10" deep but sounded real sharp and clear.Almost no iron or junk around at all. SWEET SPOT. HH and GL on your next outing.
