A friend of mine lives just around the corner from work in a circa 1890s house..About a month ago I asked him if I could hunt the yard.He said "Knock yourself out".So today I finally stopped to check it out.Searched for about 25 min. and it was time to leave.Hit a choppy silver sound on the way to the van. 6" later and this popped out..My first Barber quarter.1909D.
COOL.

very nice lunch find!

I really like finding them Barber Quarters since I just love the design of them. Only thing is that I have only found 1 this year and I really wish that would change before freeze-up. Who knows, maybe there's a Big Sister waiting for your next hunt there. Good Luck and HH.

Looks like a beauty. I would've skipped lunch though. :.)

That is one of the nicer ones that have been posted in awhile, worth the lunch break and if you got this in your short half hour think of what a full day off would bring!!!!!!!!
Good luck on your next break John
