I went to a metal detector salesman today, to pick up a coil for my other detector , and up on the wall it caught my eye. Is that the 3030? yes was the answer , I said WOW its not as big as i thought it was , Then i very gently took it down from the wall and held it in my had and swung it back and forth , i was just amazed it was like swinging a feather , I just could not figure how something that is over 5 pounds I think could feel so light it did not pull on my fore arm, I felt no fatigue, I mean it was really something , I have been calling it a big heavy albatross but i have to take my words back , the sale man even said he has pitite women who swing it with no problem what can i say its perfectly balanced , and it looks high quality thats all i can say for now did not try it out but that my be interesting to .

Now......if he would let you take it for a test drive to your old house lot.....

Jim i wonder how you would like it . ? It also has a nice sniper coil .

Young man-----NOW you see (one of the reasons) why we like/rave about the CTX!!-----I'm 76 years old and I can swing that thing all day.----It's not just about the weight/balance ratio though--the CTX flat out PERFORMS!

I don't know Gunnar. As you know, I do enjoy Minelab detectors. I believe I would enjoy using the 3030. One day should I run into an extra $2500.......I will purchase one lol.
