gps and cell phone aps

Does anyone use a GPS or cell phone aps to navigate in the woods or large farms and to track finds locations? Looking at android aps and not really sure what would be good.

I've begun using my Garmin Dakota 20 to record my tracks and finds and then downloading them to Google Earth. Each color designates a different day's hunt. It helps a lot knowing where you've been and where you should go next when searching large areas. I think it's a very powerful tool.

i am very interested in advice about a good gps system that will give me coordinates for some finds i do now want to log everything or where i have been but some specific finds need mapping any ideas would like it as accurate as possible thanks

Do all newer grains have the ability to sync with Google earth? I don't see that feature listed on there web site.

Go to Google Earth, click "Tools" then "GPS".
Connect your GPS to your computer via USB cable.
Select the device and hit "Import".
