Graduate in 4 weeks.......please pray 4 a job 4 me

well I am about there, didn't think I'd make it when I started last year. Now I have srubbed well over 100 surgeries. I can't believe how much I have learned over the past year. My unemployment lasts until I graduate, then that is it. I have applied at every hospital within driving distance of me, in my field as well as other simple stuff in the hospital just to get my foot in the door. Today I got 3 rejection letters

so please pray something will open up for me, 4 weeks I will be all done with school, and need a job BAD!

Glad to hera you will graduate. I will say some prayers for you.

in reply to your applications and resumes. Most companies have been cut so badly their human relations department or person just can't respond to all the apps and resumes they get. Hang in there God has something waiting for you.

it is supposed to be an "in demand job".......I am finding jobs to apply for, but I am getting rejected even though I have the qualifications they say they want in their ad.

Praying you will find the right job at the right time! I know what you are going thru. Health Care jobs are scarce around here because most of the people who have lost their jobs in the last couple of years are going into the health care field. We've always been told health care will always be in demand (and it will), but there are only so many jobs to go around.

Congratulations on Your Graduation! You will be in my prayers for employment. May God grant you your hearts desire and all that you need.

you may have to relocate! prayers said!!!!

find out who is above Human Resources...send the resume/app to him or her. When the person above them gives them the paperwork they will think you are connected and will not just toss yours off to the side with others.

Brother do not forget that hospitals are not the only place that do sugery. They are just the most obvios. You may also try medical device manufactures and machine or fabrication shops which build the devices. If you saw the name of a company on the tools and machines in the hospital, the doctors office and in the operating room, then those would be companies to look at. I know that there are numerous companies in the midwest who are in this line of work.

Just a thought, what do you think?

Will pray
Jeff

Oh I agree and I am submitting resumes to more than just hospitals, I am contacting surgery centers, eye doctors, orthodontist, endoscopic centers, etc....

Congrats on graduating and keep the faith, for God has the right job for you for contentment, peace and where you will be the best suited for! It will take time but pray that God will give you favor and be with your resumes to reach the right people for knowing who you are with the knowledge and work skills you need for them to hire you! Lots of people seeking work, because of workplaces closing and big layoffs! By being patient and keeping faith in our One and Only God and Savior, Jesus He will fulfill your needs and the desires of your heart! He never fails nor leaves us but we must ask, seek and obey Him for His helping us obtain our dreams at just the right time and in the right place! Amen! May God Bless! Prayers for your being hired and working very soon! Amen! Ma Betty

can't wait too long, hard to be patient, cuz like I said above, my unemployment runs out when I graduate, so if I go very long, I will be homeless and starving!

Congratulations on graduating in four weeks! I remember when you first went back to school and was so nervous about it. I will be praying for a door to open for you. Believe me, I KNOW how frustrating it is to be qualified - and in my case, have lots of experience, and still not be able to do what you are qualified and trained to do. I've been trying to find another teaching position for two years now! Sooooo many cuts in education along with other obstacles seem to have completely closed, locked, chained, barred, and cemented the doors shut for me. I'm not giving up though! Teaching is where my heart is at and where I want to be! In the meantime, I might not like working at the hotel, but I AM thankful to have a job!

well the thing that scares me most is my wife only get 30 hours a week at her job and just over minimum wage! I have been also applying for other non medical jobs as well, because I am willing to take anything in order to support my family. Problem is when a job comes open in this area they get 100+ applicants for every opening! Unemployment is still 15% in my county

Where is your faith, Terry? The Bible says God's people will not be begging for bread.....food or money......Do we trust and lean on Jesus, by faith or not? I can't even begin to tell you what all I've been through since divorced in 1988. My ex left me in 1986 and I wasn't working nor had any money amount to anything while physically and emotionally ill! I was getting $300 from him and then after attending Workshop for needy women, I worked for The Lutheran Church MO Synod and the Temps for 3-4 years and then I had to make do on the $300.00 per month until 1998 when I turned 62 and could draw on my SS and then after a month later he reached the retirment age and drew a little more off his SS......which was around $400.00 plus and now in 2010, I still only draw $602.00 per month and will be less next year without an increase in SS with an increase in the Medicare deduction before I get my monthly check!

So, did I have to trust & lean on Jesus, oh yes, He is the One that got me through some very, very rough times and He will you also, but don't complain nor doubt, for then you will have to wait longer until you have learned patience while praising, honoring, glorifying and thanking Jesus for what you do have and will have, as long as you are faithful to Him then He will be faithful to you by providing for your needs! I truly know for I have had a long journey to travel without much money, but God always came through and provided for my needs ( not always desires) and protected me! Trust and obey and you will find Jesus is more than enough to get through this mortal life and have everlasting life in peace, joy and love forever and ever! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
