Gray ghost ndt question..

I've used the Grey Ghost Ultimates on my E-Trac for 4 years - from what I've read over the years any of the Grey Ghost headphones work great on the Minelab machines.
Grey Ghost headphones are very well built and sound great on my E-Trac.
But, I really like my new Killer B - Wasps - they are lighter ( much easier on & off ) have a longer cord and they sound real good.

The bottom line is ... any of the high end headphones are well worth the money - it's real easy to miss the smaller deep hits with cheap headphones !
IMHO - using cheap headphones with your E-Trac is like puting $20.00 speakers on a $1500.00 stereo.

Good Luck !

I've had my GG NDT's for about 15 years.........first on my DFX & now on my E-Trac.................Work great for me! I especially like the detachable cord. If the cord goes bad you just unplug it & send it in & they send you back a new cord..........Free! I have two pairs of headphones & have had to send back 3 cords.( Mostly because I hunt farm fields where the cords get caught on corn & bean stubble............I'm pretty rough on them, so they don't get babied! )
I have bad hearing, so I love the individual volume adjusters on each ear.

JMHO!

Dittos. Love my NDT's. Have only sent two cords bck for new (free) ones. Have had my phones for about 15 years....nge

I also use the GG NDT headphones...I have a homebrew pair of cheapie headphones that have a longer cord and are louder than the GGs, but I made them that way...The GG NDT (No Down Time) headphones are light, and fit fully over the ears to block out almost all outside noise...If you are hunting in a bad neighborhood, I DO NOT recommend wearing these if you want to hear things coming up behind you...If you want to hear faint deep targets though, these do quite well...
