Hi guys.
Yesterday I went out late afternoon. Had been raining off and on all day. Went back to the same area I've been videoing my hunts. I pulled a 1919 Merc on film. 1920 wheat I did not film. Also a 1900 Barber dime that rang in like a wheat. 12-41 at 3 inches and would not sway (the signal that is). I scratched liberty right down the middle of her face :veryangry:. I did not film that one as I thought it was a wheat and the wind was terrible. The barber dime was very, very worn. I could just make out the "ONE DIME" on the back. Of course the front was a little better. The date was very readible. Anyway. I could see the rain bank and started marking signals. Hit another little hotspot and marked 3 signals.
Went back after church, still windy but not as bad. I'd been wanting to get an IH signal on film and I had two. So we first went to my dime signal. Dug it and it was a wheatie. It rang 12-44/45 most of the time. I never dreamed it was a wheat. Anyway it was a 1913 wheat. Filmed the next IH signal and that is when I got the 1908. I didn't notice the S mintmark until I got back into the car. Didn't realize it was a semi-key coin until I got home. Last signal turned out to be an 1891 Indian Head.
I got all these on film. The FULL digs. Don't know yet when I'll get them up loaded. Probably be a couple of weeks from now. But I will share the pics.
Take care.

By the way. I did not clean it at all. Except for rubbing the sand off with my glove after recover. What you see is the way I'll leave it for now!!
