GREAT SITE TO FIND OLD PLACES CHECK IT OUT THE BEST

Hello i just want to let everyone know this site i found it is the best you put in the address of anywhere and it is like google earth but it has aerial views of wherever you are looking so you see a site as it looks present day and you use the slider bar and as you move it it will change the landscape and show old buildings and whatever was there as you go down the years it goes back to 1930 it is the best thing ever and free no downloads you actually see from a plane camera what was there and you see old building disappear it is great for pinpointing where old things were you have to check this out unreal any questions just ask i just found it yesterday and already have new spots that i never knew were there old ball Fields buildings bars etc i just wanted to let everyone know it will help you find spots from years ago that are no longer there it is like overlaying an old aerial picture over a new picture and watching the land change use the dissolve option and set the year to the oldest and just watch the buildings appear and bingo new site to hunt hope this helps someone find new old spots it has helped me just trying to help fellow detectorist

Hi Croaker- I don't see the link. Do you mean http://historicaerials.com/ or another ? I find that one very helpful. BTW -if it's not too much trouble, could you add a period when your sentences end? No offense, but I'm having a hard time understanding your train of thought (see what happens when you're married to teacher ) :unsure:
 
Thanks for confirming the site. I can't count how many times, saying to myself as I scout out potential sites " Hmm, I wonder what this piece of property was once used for". At least we now know, sometimes able to go back to 1930, through those historic aerial photos...
