Hello all,had a great productive day today at an old colonial house site from about 1770 in Swanzey.Bomber John came up today as well as my friend Chris who had never before metal detected. My girlfriend Yvonne and my parents also joined in and detected as well.John found a nice King George copper and a bunch of other goodies. My father found a well worn 1839 Seated half dime and a few wheats. My mother found a bunch of clad and a GORGEOUS COMPLETE whiskey pottery jug from around 1850 or so.My finds were nothing significant but were alot of fun to dig. They were 3 silver plated spoons,an early silver plated butter knife, some type of dagger,an old ash tray,a buckle,a cool button with a clock face on it,a complete bell,a nice sterling silver womans ring and a James R. Polk token of some type.My coin finds were a 1912 Liberty nickel,a 1917 Buffallo nickel and a silver 1944-p war nickel and a bunch of wheats and memorials.Overall it was an incredible day at a site that was found by accident.

Grats on the great finds!
Nothing beats time with the family and getting some swing time in with them.

Nice finds and a great time with family and friends - can't beat that. That's a really good mix of stuff - from Colonial times to the modern era. Sounds like everyone found something cool. Your James K. Polk token looks like the series issued by Crackerjack in 1933-34. Thanks for sharing your finds & HH.

Very nice Jason - sounds like you guy's had a great time - I really like the ring !

Also, we will be in Maine at my Mother - in law's from June 3rd to the 11th - there's a real popular saltwater beach and a few 1800's houses I plan on hunting.
Looking forward to using the new S.E.F. 10 x 12 coil in Maine.
If I find any good stuff - I'll post details and photo's when I get back home.

HH --- Mark
