Ground balance numbers

Is it possible to get a ground balance reading of 56 or is there something wrong with my machine? I tried ground balancing in a few different areas where I was hunting and it was between 24-56. Normally it would be at 5 at the highest.

I would flip on all metal before ground balancing and make sure you are on clean ground and make sure you have your sensitivity set where you hunt at.
After a lot of experimenting I leave mine set at default 0 for the most part JMO

Mine ..... on a beach, normally is around 14 upper wet sand..... but yes i have seen it pop some wierd digits. I also use default 0...... its gets a little bit more chatter nearer the hard pan .... and smoother in pushed up sand..... so i use that to my advantage. Same with using AM and adjusting the sensitivity.
