I need a quick review for the settings of Ground coin versus ferrous coin. I don't remember which is better or why. Some of the programs I dounloaded don't use these, do I need to change them?
ie the silver/indian program.

Ground Coin - can help stabilise Target ID's in mineralised soils but can reduce depths on targets due to all the additional filtering.

Ferrous Coin - can help separate 2 targets typically a coin and a nail: used with Target Trace it helps to work iron infested patches. But Target ID's can be way off.
For example, a signal of FE 12 CO 27 in Ground Coin [ could show ] FE 24 CO 47 in Ferrous Coin
