Did you find any clad along with it, and where did it register on the conductivity scale?
 
It reminds me of those fotos of UFO's from the 1950's
i thought i was looking at a UFO :rofl: nice looking ring cant wait ta see a better pic.

BTW do you have a micro and macro setting on your camera?
You might want to flip the switch to Micro when you take
close up pictures. Should come out better.
