Hit a large play area today - worked it for about 3 hours waiting for my wife to return from a meeting. Fortunately I put the time, in as I dug only about 20 coins but got a 14K necklace (part of one), the large bracelet is stamped GE or GF 14 K. I have never seen the GE before the karat mark, always following it. I'll have to check with my jeweler. Hoping the letters are the maker - with luck.
The 2 live bullets were right under the kiddie swings, and the topaz looking ear ring is not precious but it sure did sparkle when I dug it up. The wheaty is 1954. Obviously the site has been heavily detected as few coins were found. But they left a few goodies for me
Great digs to start the new year, Steve in so az
