you have too many finds cause you started way before us and hogged it all...I just wish I started detecting when I was a kid....I remember seeing a house getting moved and they dug a cellar hole for it and we as kids would go and find old bottles and old indian cents there..thats when the bug bit me and it didn't return till I was late 30ty's.....I wish I knew then what I know now!!!!!....Has anyone ever said THAT before?
I took a long break. I started detecting in 74 and quit to chase skirts. In those days my sensitivity and ground balance were superb.
And, I didn't need a 15" WOT to get good coverage. Heck, I could hit 3 sites in one night.
Then like you I realized what I was really missing out on. So I started walking around with a stick and a box screwed to it, looking for something better.
Needless to say, here I am right along with the rest of you showing what we scored the day before.
