Had a Fun Afternoon

Arjim and I have been searching for a Civil War campsite for quite a while and I believe that we found it today!! We found 11 roundballs, one three ringer, a few shot bullets and a brass whatsit in about 3 hours. We thought that the brass item was a bullet mold of some sorts but have since decided against it. I actually found two of the brass things. Any ideas??? We also found 2 Missouri tax tokens, one half of an Oklahoma tax token and Jim had the find of the day with the '34 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Jim was using his SE with his new Pro coil, and I was using my Etrac. I finally had to go to 4 tones to feel comfortable with it today but every round ball that I found was between 8 and 10 inches deep. It is a great feeling to find a site that you have researched. Cant wait to get back out there, got to be a button or two around there. Thanks for looking

That's what this hobby is all about, some great finds!! Hopefully you guys can pull some more out of the site!!!

Thanks fellas!! I think that we may have just found the edge of the camp, hopefully we can find the main part!! That silver half was a very nice surprise as we dont find near as much silver as you guys. Still stumped on that brass part though.
