Had a very nice evening hunt!

Jeff in Pa

Well-known member
I had about 1-1/2 hours to hunt a park that I pulled the 1807 from.

I loaded a very open 4TF mode and away I went.

First a Wheat, then the 1840 something Largie, then in one hole I had the 2 Rosie's, the War nickel and a Wheat.
After that I got 2 more Wheats.

Was a Great hunt!

yes you did have a nice hunt....!!!!! I got sidelined today.......

Awesome finds. 4TF seems to be getting pretty polular! I'm going to have to give that a try.

Thanks guys!

Terry the park has only been there for 60 years but who knows what went on before that.

I don't think the ground has ever been moved around at all. The 2 LC's I got from there were only 8 or 9 inches down. That's nothing for my 13" Ultimate running at 26 or 27.

Nice hunt Jeff! Thanks for the pictures and congratulations on the finds.

Killer finds - congrats ! :beers:

Congrats! I'm still waiting for my first Large C...Maybe Today!

Love that Large Cent! I so want to dig one, but they are hard to find in Oklahoma, Congrats on a great hunt.

Yes 4 tone ferrous. Go the the Etrac classroom and checkout the thread on the first page. Its been viewed about 5,000 times?

Anyway I created the open program you can see in that thread. I will warn you though if you try it you may go into brain overload if the iron is bad.

That's when I use it. I like it when the iron is heavy. Just listen for the very simple, plain, monotone sound.

Its not my go to mode though. I normally will use the Andy S. Pattern in conductive.
