So this started with the trip to the beach. I got to see some good clean signals and learn to recognize what to dig and what was trash pretty effectively. Today I got back to one of my trashy spots with lots of iron. Having been exposed to good signals I now had a MUCH better idea what the machine was telling me with the data. I ended up digging a handful of coins and was only fooled by some snipped aluminum siding and some washers. After today I have a brand new respect for the CTX.
However, I'm not sure how I can stand to switch to anything besides ferrous-coin! The double targets allowed me to see and dig coins from holes that were just full of rusty nails. I was literally blown away. I know people complain about the recovery speed being slow but when you can see multiple targets who cares!! I even had one screen showing me what looked like two good hits and a bunch of iron. I dug the plug and sure enough there was a dime a penny and 3 or 4 rusty nails.
If there is another machine that can match that for less money then I would be seriously impressed.
