I hunted an old school site I've never hunted before today.I dug 1946 plain Rosy that I scratched while digging it in gravel,1943 War Nickel,5 wheaties a 1936,1944,1946-D,1954 and a crusty one I can't read the date on.I also dug a necklace with 5 heart shaped pendants on it.A stering silver spoon.I found a clad spill just as I entry the site.I found some lead type and a large ornate gilt button.I need to go back with the 5.3 or 3X6 coil as this site is super trashy. The playground equipment left there is some of the oldest I've ever seen.If it doesn't rain I'm going back with the small coil in the morning. It was 41 degrees and windy. It spit rain on and off. This site has strange ground. In the span of 50 feet I went from sand and gravel to loam then wet gumbo clay.Used Magics program. It's in a ghost town. The railroad pulled out and the town died.
